Gershow Recycling recently acquired 131 New York City public buses following a successful bid. Following preparation to remove the vehicles of fuel and other liquids, the buses are then cut and shredded, separating the recyclable materials from the non-recyclable materials, so that they can be used again, rather than sitting in municipal landfills, helping to preserve the environment and precious natural resources.
